Hello! I’m glad you’re here. I’m Chelsi.

I was born and raised in Houston, TX. I’m a Latina with Salvadoran roots. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas. I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. I’ve always felt connected to being able to help others. There’s something special about being able to provide the space for healing and be part of a human’s healing journey. I feel very fortunate to be part of this field. I have 5 years of experience and have worked in multiple settings with children, adolescents, adults, and elderly populations.

When I don’t have my therapist hat on, I will typically be spending time with family and husband, weightlifting at the gym, or being outdoors. I love to travel and one of my favorite places to be at is in the mountains of Colorado.

It would be a privilege to be a part of your healing journey.

As a Latina therapist, I bring a culturally sensitive and compassionate approach to therapy, understanding how cultural background can influence emotional well-being and healing. With specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Written Exposure Therapy, and trauma-informed care, I am dedicated to helping clients heal from the effects of trauma and PTSD.

In our work together, I focus not only on using evidence-based therapies to address trauma and PTSD, but also on providing a safe, nurturing space where you can process emotions and life situations. I believe that therapy is a space for connection, support, and healing. My goal is to help you release the weight of guilt and shame that often accompanies trauma, allowing you to live with a sense of freedom and self-compassion.

I also incorporate work with your inner child, helping you heal emotional wounds from childhood and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been lost or suppressed along the way. By doing so, we can address unresolved feelings and move forward with greater strength and understanding.

I believe in a collaborative approach, where we work together to identify your unique needs, challenges, and goals. In therapy, you’re not just a passive participant—I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way as we develop strategies to help you feel empowered, confident, and at peace.

If you’re ready to embark on a healing journey and let go of the burden of past trauma, I’m here to walk beside you and help you discover the strength and resilience within yourself. I look forward to supporting you in your growth and healing.
